I was able to get one 30 minute pose complete enough to where I'll be working on it more this/next week. There are a few from November and December that I want to revisit as well, time permitting! To warm up yesterday I did a few sketches with pencil...I think I'll stick to that for the upcoming session next Monday and see what happens; it was a good departure and I'd like to do a bit more with it. So look for that next week.

In case your interested...from this figure study you can tell where I've started refining cross-contour lines to define the segments of the body and muscle structure. I've also roughed-in the placement of the toes, hair, and especially the pillow pattern and contours under her arm. This particular model wore a bathing suit; the non-organic lines were interesting to use to help define the shape as it is presented from this angle. How to present the effect her clothing had on her body was also kinda fun. It certainly presents a unique challenge!!!!

I will post more as I work on this one, and anything else that happens to get some attention in the garage/studio :)
